This prototype is sort of an active, thought-provoking thesaurus. Instead of just looking up a word and seeing what other words are related, maybe it would be better to explore the deeper concept behind the word and explore possible meanings from there.

For example, say you are trying to find a way to move a project ahead more quickly. Maybe it would help you to think about the concept of movement, examine what emotions and motivations are involved, and explore the meaning-space related to movement. You might find that the type of movement you are interested in is not external but internal, for example. You might discover that the project needs more movement in one direction than another, or that you need stable movement, not just movement per se.

What we are getting at here is to work toward tools that help people to more easily use computers to communicate emotion, value, meaning, connection, nuance, and other socially valuable information.
