Biographical sketches of authors

Christopher M. Johnson  IBM Research Division, Almaden Research Center, 650 Harry Road, San Jose, California 95120 (johnsocm@us.ibm.com). Mr. Johnson is a researcher in the Intelligent Information Systems group of the Computer Science department at the IBM Almaden Research Center. He received B.A. and M.B.A. degrees from the University of California at Berkeley in 1993 and 2003, respectively, and a J.D. degree from the University of Southern California in 1996. At Almaden, his research focuses on privacy and legal compliance technologies.

Tyrone W. A. Grandison  IBM Research Division, Almaden Research Center, 650 Harry Road, San Jose, California 95120 (tyroneg@us.ibm.com). Dr. Grandison manages the Data Disclosure team in the Computer Science department at the Almaden Research Center. He received B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees from the University of West Indies in Jamaica in 1997 and 1998, respectively, and a Ph.D. degree from the Imperial College of Sciences, Technology, and Medicine of the University of London, United Kingdom in 2003. His research interests include security-sensitive and privacy-aware data disclosure, security and trust management, fundamental data science for new frameworks, models, methodologies, and opportunities for specific application domains.
