Kay ChangIBM Global Services, 11501 Burnet Road, Austin, Texas 78758 (kchang@us.ibm.com). Ms. Chang is a senior software engineer working on the Application Enablement Program. Among previous assignments, she worked on delivering the mySAPTM hosting solution, mail, and messaging hosting solutions using wireless devices. She was a business development manager for telecommunications server management, using IBM and Nokia wireless products. She was also an AIX system architect working on expanding AIX user management to the LDAP-based, federated user management in the area of identification and security. Ms. Chang helped to develop various Internet-based methods for security, such as ipsec (IP Security Protocol), PKI (Public Key Infrastructure), and Kerberos, as well as the next generation of Internet Protocol (IP V6) for the AIX system. She has a Master's degree in computer engineering from Wright State University.
Anthony DasariIBM Global Services, 11501 Burnet Road, Austin, Texas 78758 (adasari@us.ibm.com). Mr. Dasari is an IT architect in the Application Enablement Program for small and medium business ISVs. He has been active in customer consulting engagements for the past 12 years in various industry sectors, such as health care management, oil and refinery, telecommunications, publishing, automobile, criminal investigation, and the state and federal government. Prior to joining IBM, he was the technical director of a profitable multimillion dollar consulting and integration company. He performed various architectural roles such as data architect, information architect, solutions architect, infrastructure architect, and business process architect. The experience that he gained from multiple industry sectors and various architectural roles has given him unique insight into the various perspectives of an e-business architecture and the e-business on demand solution areas in various industry sectors. Mr. Dasari has an M.S. degree in computer science from Oklahoma City University and a B.S. degree in technology with specialization in electronics and communication from Nagarjuna University.
Hari MadduriIBM Software Group, 11501 Burnet Road, Austin, Texas 78758 (madduri@us.ibm.com). Dr. Madduri has an M. Sc. degree in physics from Osmania University (India) and an M. Phil. degree in computer applications from the University of Hyderabad (India). He also has Master's and Ph.D. degrees in computer science from the University of Wisconsin, Madison. Prior to being with IBM, he was a researcher at Honeywell Inc., working on fault-tolerance and distributed systems. Since joining IBM in 1990, he has worked on distributed object technologies, data mining, and hosted service development. His more recent projects have been electronic bill presentment and payment service, data transformation service, UMI, UMI metering, the application framework for UMI, and the Application Enablement Program for IBM server farms and UMI, most of which are examples of the “software as a service” concept. A Senior Technical Staff Member, Dr. Madduri is currently an architect in Tivoli. He is working on Tivoli orchestration and provisioning technologies with a focus on metering and service provisioning.
Alfredo (Freddie) MendozaIBM Global Services, 11501 Burnet Road, Austin, Texas 78758 (mendoza1@us.ibm.com). Mr. Mendoza is an advisory software engineer in the Application Management Services Group within IBM Global Services. He currently works in the application enablement program that involves creation of processes and procedures that will transform ISV applications to on demand services. Prior to this position, he worked in AIX kernel development as the component lead for libpthreads, and before that he worked in the IBM Solutions Developer Organization, Tivoli, and AIX service and support as an independent consultant. Before coming to work for IBM in the United States, he worked for IBM in Wangaratta, Australia as a product engineer with the task of learning and transferring manufacturing technology from the United States for such products as the former IBM ROLM telephone switches and IBM Micro Channel® 370. Mr. Mendoza has a B.Sc. ECE from De La Salle University in the Philippines.

Mr. Mims has been with IBM since 1989 and is currently a senior software engineer with Tivoli in the IBM Software Group. He holds a Bachelor's degree from the University of Texas at Austin and is an IBM Certified IT Specialist. He has spent most of his IBM career in mainframe software development and technical support and has presented technical seminars and workshops around the world. Prior to an assignment with IBM Global Services, he was the author of two IBM redbooks and a number of technical white papers. He is currently assigned to Tivoli Education Development in Austin.
