Author bio

Rich Fletcher MIT Media Laboratory, 20 Ames Street, Cambridge, Massachusetts 02139-4307 (electronic mail: fletcher@media.mit.edu). Mr. Fletcher is currently a Ph.D. candidate in the Physics and Media Group of the MIT Media Lab. He has bachelor of science degrees in physics and electrical engineering, both from MIT. Before coming to the Media Lab, he spent five years as a member of the research staff at the Air Force Materials Lab, Electromagnetic Materials Division, at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio. His current research involves development of new forms of wireless sensors based on passive electromagnetic resonators.
