Pretty soon you will have broadband High Def, stereo 3D, surround-sound immersive media in your home, piped through huge data portals from the information superhighway right to your livingroom. And your bedroom. And your neighbor's livingroom...

Will it all turn into one unending strip mall? Or into a cozy little Harry Potter magic town? Or a new Star Wars film (but with a good script)?

We will glimpse some exciting work on the cutting edge, where Hollywood style special effects meet virtual reality, and we will explore some possible futures, serious and otherwise. You decide which is which...
