PROPOSAL SUBMISSION

The intent of the special sessions is to provide an overview, state-of-the-art and research directions in a field of special interest to the ICME community. All the speakers will be invited by the session organizer(s). Suggestions for inviting a plenary speaker to overview the field and provide research directions will also be entertained. For the special session, FOUR to FIVE speakers should be invited to outline the state-of-the-art in sub-areas that relate to the field. Session chairs will choose the invitees and provide justification for inviting the speakers. All invitees will be required to submit a paper. Papers will be subject to regular review and will be published in the conference proceedings.

Proposals for special sessions should contain (a) session title and organizer(s), with contact addresses and emails, (b) brief motivation for its organization (less than a page), and (c) a list of FOUR to FIVE invited papers - with the authors' titles, affiliations, addresses, and brief curriculum vitaes. The Special Sessions Committee will review and select the sessions. In addition to this, there will be several invited sessions on important topics. Proposals for special sessions should be sent to either of the special session co-chairs by mail, fax, or e-mail (preferred):
