Monthly Cloud Climatology.

Several monthly cloud climatology parameters are shown simultaneously in spherical earth-centered coordinates. A gray-scale topographic globe is in the center, surrounded by a shell, which is radially deformed by cloud top pressure. The globe is overlaid with pseudo-colored contours of surface temperature. The shell is pseudo-colored by cloud top temperature. The opacity of the shell corresponds the the optical thickness of the clouds.
