Archeological Reconstruction

400,000 year old archaic Homo sapiens fossils from Morocco(left) and Zambia(right). The skull on the left was a composite reconstructed with Data Explorer from six small fragments from two individuals. The pieces were measured, scaled, and positioned on-screen; missing parts were created using mirror-imaging.
