This is a single time step from a 365 day animation showing vegetative productivity in Glacier National Park. This work was done by the University of Montana in conjunction with a study of Glacier National Park vegetation growth patterns. The base map data was available in ARC-Info and converted to data explorer format using the gis2dx conversion tools. The digital terrain, rivers, and lakes were arc coverages. The vegetative productivity is mapped onto the terrain to better understand the effects of north versus south facing slopes on the vegetative productivity.
